First thing first, you need to start by cleaning the surface, you need to clean the surface thoroughly where you will be sticking your sticker. Pre-wash the area first hand, with a mixture of water and alcohol to clean it properly. 

Don’t rush to the pasting. Take your time and put the decal on when the temperature is moderate. Try to find a shaded area from the direct sunlight so the gum on the decal can perform its work and helps your decal stick to the door. 

If you are not sure about your alignment, then take the help from the masking tape. It will help you position your sticker in the right way. Leaving the white backing paper in place. Face the surface where you are installing the decal. Now place the masking tape on the top and the bottom of the sticker. 

Once you are done with the above step, lift the sticker from the corner and peel of the backing paper. Don’t go too fast or too slow. If you move, slow air bubbles will get in.
